This project included adding 718 square feet to the back of the house to account for a new family room, a new master bedroom and extend an existing bedroom. This also include taking the remainder of the house down to the wood framing and installing a new plumbing, all new electrical, all new insulation. The new roof also had five skylights in different parts of the house. The vaulted ceiling in the new family room allowed for 20-foot high ceilings with triangular shaped windows over full-size windows. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were all new with custom tile work and casing throughout the house. A prefinished floor was installed throughout the house. Curb appeal was added to the front of house by installing bluestone on the porch and replacing the tired metal railing with a new wood railing painted white.
